Converse Counter Climate Chuck Taylor All Star Waterproof Nubuck Boot
In February 1908, Marquis Mills Converse opened the doors to his shoe manufacturing shop dubbed, Converse Rubber Shoe Company. His sneakers were unique and provided durability the public had never seen before. The concept of vulcanized rubber used as the shoe's midsole revolutionized the way sneakers are worn to this day. From then on, Converse has carried the title of the chic, fashionable sneakers that never lack on durability.
In October 2016, Converse released their first ever Chuck Taylor Sneakerboot using Counter Climate technology. This October, Converse came in hot with a new iteration of the Chuck Taylor Sneakerboot, the Converse Counter Climate Chuck Taylor All Star Waterproof Nubuck Boot. The latest iteration takes the previous model and bumps it up a notch featuring a premium Nubuck upper available in Raw Sugar, Black, or Mason colourways. Newly introduced is a boot specifically designed for women, rather than a unisex boot. The women's boot comes in Black, Brown, Malt, and a unique Midnight Blue colourway.

As far as winterization goes, the Chuck Taylor All Star Sneakerboot is an incredible creation that deserves a lot more recognition than it gets. The sneaker uses Counter Climate technology which is essentially a thickened midsole to retain heat in the boot, allowing for guaranteed warmth in cold weather. It also features an extended neoprene bootie, beginning just before the toe box, all the way up to above the top seam. The bootie is designed to protect your foot from water up to the top of the Chuck Taylor emblem, embossed into the nubuck. The material used on the upper is designed to bead water off the moment it makes contact with the boot, allowing for a dry boot at all times. The iconic Converse outsole features the same pattern with a little bit of added thickness to increase durability and traction. The heart of the boot is the new premium nubuck wrapped from lateral to medial, making this Sneakerboot the best on the market for its price point.

Because the boots are meant to be 'multi-purpose', meaning they can be used for casual or winter wear, Converse added their iconic Nike Lunarlon insole providing your feet with everlasting comfort. The inner-liner of the sneaker is apart of the bootie, allowing it to provide an added layer of water protection.
