What Made the adidas Ultra Boost a Top Contender in Streetwear?

Since 2015, adidas' patented 'Boost' technology has been taking the sneaker world by storm.  The perfect combination between comfort and a subtle look.  However, the question on everyone's mind is, how did the fad evolve from retro and basketball kicks to modern running shoes?

Simplicity

Nowadays, part of modern design is simplicity, something the Ultra Boost clearly doesn't lack.  The upper simply consists of a full sock-like, Primeknit upper, backed by a subtle TPU 'Three Stripes' cage.  The heel-counter packs sleek metallic 'Ultra Boost' branding, and a full length 'Boost' midsole of course.  The simplicity is what makes the Ultra Boost so easy to pair with casual clothes.

Quality

Nobody likes a sneaker that lacks durable traits.  On the adidas Ultra Boost, you are getting premium materials formed together with precision to create a quality sneaker.  The use of Continental rubber on the outsole not only provides a long lasting outsole, but also peace of mind that you don't have to 'go easy' on the sneaker.

Comfort

Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Air Jordans, as well as Nike sneakers, however, after wearing 'Boost' technology -especially Ultra Boosts- it's very difficult to use any other sneaker as an everyday wear.  The perfect mix between comfort and a casual, subtle running sneaker.
